I know..that back in my teeny days(97-mid99) I was dead set against anything to do with the moffats. I dissed them..i said they sounded like chipmunks(they still do) but i have discovered since their last album/single Bang bang boom (not to be confused with the mis-leading lyrics of Gang bang boom *i did not say it*) That these four boys...no matter how corny their hair is...no matter how sucky their original stuff was (I saw one of their early "country" albums at alley tunes for five bucks) but I have to give credit to them..they know how to write a good pop/rock song. And i mean..the lyrics may be a little cheesy - what pop song isn't these days - But damn i am impressed with the vocals of the eldest moffat Scott (the taylor hanson/ scott moffat fan fic "Devil Angel" is a classic..so i've heard. www.hansonfiction.com).
Although I did enjoy that song Gil performed with the moffats - I think you can still find that at HMV. But Gil is a hottie..ohhhh yeaaah.
He can make me...[pause]..go..any day. Getting back to what I was saying...the moffats more recent album - their last one too because the band broke up; kinda hard cos their brothers, but from what i heard one of them moved to Australia.
The song that i dissed the most was..Misery. It has to be one of the most repetitive songs i've heard...but damn..that annoyingly catchy hook and chorus has got me. Even if u don't know the words...you can still remember that damn line.."Misery...da da da" - well thats what i'm like when i try to sing it.

Ok..so what has caused this change? Well...finally i guess i'm respecting the classic teeny bands a bit more. I'm learning to appreciate all kinds of music..except the crap holly valance - Yeah..sh'good marketing plan - Get ur top off - sell 1 million.
Ahh..I miss talent.

Eww..my nails...are...smelly from the acrylic...Yes..i finally got them done this morning. My appointment was moved from 8:30 to 10...thank god. I'm starting to dred late nights and early wake ups. Last nite i was up late. I did something - so un-thinkable..you will not believe it.
I WATCHED FOOTBALL
I know..scary shit huh? I actually sat through the last quater of the essendon vs, melbourne match. Of course i'm an essendon fan..and not just cos they win all the time - Well..i probably wouldn't call myself a fan...since i do think sport is the devil and even more since my lecture on media and sport. More on that later. But i watched it..and even though i have no idea about rules or who the hell the players were *there was one melbourne player...mmm..nice* But i watched and...i almost liked. OK..so i was yelling at the TV during that whole 4th quater. It was exciting while it lasted. But honestly..if it essendon wasn't playing..i probably wouldn't be watching it at all.

Well i guess..since i'm going to that soccer final bbq thingy at justin's house..i should...get to like watching sport...nah..its still boring..and i remember playing soccer at school..that was pretty boring. I had more fun attempting to play Le Cross...for that..they gave us sticks..which could double as a weapon...or...as i found out that day...can be very useful for a number of activities. Like..hitting ppl...for one. Ahh.. BAH! I SAY TO SPORT! BAH!

Did anyone watch buffy? well..the almost marriage between Xander and Anya. it was an entertaining episode for all. Meanwhile..i missed sailor moon this morning. Still kicking myself. I think it was the episode with the final confrontation with the two evil alien things and their tree. Well damn..waking up at 8 in the morning is getting harder now..I keep sleeping in. But sleep is good. I like sleep. But damn Alias last nite was pretty good too. I love that show..but now i'm waiting for Dark Angel to start again.

I have to take a dvd back later...grr..damn walks to the video store. Oh well...we all know evelyn needs the exercise.
Yes i have decided that...while my hair looks fantastic at the moment (thanks to a new product i'm using) i still feel...ugly. And my nails...urgh. Need to be done..soon. Their getting so long, i had to file them down, and hurt my pinkie finger..it feels like my nail is gonna rip off. not nice at all.

Its almost 2pm..i should..get off my ass and do sumthing productive today. I think something is happening tonite at Justin's house...but i'm not sure if i'll go. I'm kinda..behind in what been going on lately. I keep forgetting what the date is, oh well. I'll go to the world cup final bbq thing their having...yes..drinking and soccer. Yay..sounds like a party.
